With a couple of smart ball manuevers Cândido Soares in the 47th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Paulo Pinho saved Abadim FC from getting behind. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The wind increased when Marco Amorim made the kick off in the second half. In the 52nd minute, Jaime Silva hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Paulo Pinho made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Marco Amorim in the 53rd minute of play. Paulo Pinho had great luck who in the 55thth minute grab hold of the ball when Marco Amorim from a short distance tried to put the ball inside the right post. The audience thought a goal was coming when Cândido Soares got free with Paulo Pinho in the 57th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. If Cândido Soares had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 59th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 61 played minutes Marco Amorim rounded Abadim FC's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 0-1. The supporters of Abadim FC booed when Vinagres FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 65 match minutes in a wonderful position. David Delgado didn't get a good kick on the ball. The audience was convinced that Sebastião Trindade's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Tiago Pereira was relentless in the 66th minute of the game.
