Daniel Pacheco sent away a hard shot on goal in the 4th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. André Rodrigues recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 7th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. A hard shot 11 in the game by Alexandre Ferro from a close distance when the talented Emílio Jesus managed to make a qualified save. Calicas FC's players were relieved. When Sijais's Daniel Pacheco in the 13th minute got a chance for a shot 13th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Calicas FC's goalie prevented a goal. Adolfo Alves fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 15th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without José Marques having to interfere. Calicas FC's Emílio Jesus proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 18th minute of the match, managed to save Calicas FC from getting a goal against them. Sijais's José Marques played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Adolfo Alves in the 26th minute of play. In the 32nd minute of the match Emanuel Brás sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but José Marques skillfully saved the ball. Alexandre Alves received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 35th minute. José Marques tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Daniel Pacheco blasted a shot towards the goal in the 37th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Emílio Jesus having to make a save. Daniel Pacheco's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Emílio Jesus read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 38th minute of play. 42 minutes into the match, Calicas FC's Adolfo Alves sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that José Marques narrowly saved just below the crossbar. When Alexandre Ferro came up free with the goalie in the 44th minute, the Sijais fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Alexandre Ferro couldn't finish the play. Emílio Jesus made a fantastic save in the 46th minute, when Alexandre Ferro sent off a good shot on target. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Adolfo Alves made a kick off. Emílio Coimbra kicked well hit freekick during the 51st minute of the match. Emílio Jesus made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Daniel Pacheco in the 53rd minute of play. Sijais's Alexandre Ferro got a good chance for a goal in the 54th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Daniel Pacheco sent away a hard shot on goal in the 57th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Daniel Pacheco in the 60th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Emílio Jesus prevented the ball from getting in the gole. José Marques showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Adolfo Alves in the 70th minute of the match. If Alexandre Alves had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 76th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The audience thought a goal was coming when Alexandre Alves got free with José Marques in the 78th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Daniel Pacheco sent away a hard shot on goal in the 81st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 83 minutes into the match, Calicas FC's goal looked a bit too open when Daniel Pacheco came free, but Emílio Jesus reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Alexandre Alves who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 86thth minute tested the skills of José Marques when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Alexandre Alves received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 88th minute. José Marques tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 92 minutes into the game, Filipe Fonseca was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Calicas FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Sijais the free kick. 96 minutes into the match, André Rodrigues notched a goal, 1-0, to the right of Calicas FC's Emílio Jesus. Emílio Jesus was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Sijais had won after a very even match.
