Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Daniel Pacheco got the match started through his kick off. 3 minutes into the match, António Porto notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of Sijais's José Marques. José Marques was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Alexandre Ferro blasted a shot towards the goal in the 8th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Lourenço Ferro having to make a save. Lourenço Ferro made an important save on a dangerous shot by Alexandre Ferro in the 8th minute. 9 minutes into the game, Amílcar Pinho was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Verdasca FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Sijais the free kick. Jacinto Coimbra sent away a hard shot on goal in the 12th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. A collision led to Sijais getting a freekick after 13 minutes play. André Rodrigues hit a great ball. 14 minutes into the match, Jacinto Coimbra had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of José Marques. Sijais's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Jacinto Coimbra was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-2. António Porto fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 19th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without José Marques having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jacinto Coimbra in the 21st minute of play forced Sijais's goalkeeper José Marques to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Lourenço Ferro showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Daniel Pacheco in the 29th minute of the match. Alexandre Ferro who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 32ndth minute tested the skills of Lourenço Ferro when he managed to save the team from getting behind. In the 34th play minute Alexandre Ferro came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Lourenço Ferro. 1-2. In the 37th match minute, Sijais was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Miguel Barbosa to maneuver through the defense. Cândido Ferreira kicked well hit freekick during the 39th minute of the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Alexandre Ferro got free with Lourenço Ferro in the 44th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. José Marques made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jacinto Coimbra in the 46th minute of play. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 1-2.

Jacinto Coimbra in the 52ndth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of José Marques, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. If Jacinto Coimbra had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 53rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. José Marques made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from António Porto in the 55th minute of play. José Marques made a fantastic save in the 56th minute, when Jacinto Coimbra sent off a good shot on target. João Santos received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 64th minute. José Marques tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 69th match minute, Sijais was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Delfim Amaral to maneuver through the defense. After a defensive mix-up in Sijais's zone, Abel Faria stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. José Marques came out of the goal and Abel Faria tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After having played for 74 minutes, Daniel Pacheco managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Sijais's supporters crossed their fingers, but Daniel Pacheco was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 79th minute, Daniel Pacheco left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Sijais fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-2. When João Santos came up free with the goalie in the 90th minute, the Verdasca FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that João Santos couldn't finish the play. When the match had gone on for 92 minutes, António Porto took a quick shot and it went in 2-3 without a chance for José Marques to make any attempt to save it. Verdasca FC's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
