Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Ricardo Correia made the kick off which started today's match. Delfim Esteves showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ricardo Correia, who was totally free with the ball in the 11th minute. After 11 played minutes Sameiro got a freekick which was hit by Carlos Neves. Ricardo Correia sent away a hard shot on goal in the 12th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 23 minutes of play, Calvino FC's Paulo Neves made it 1-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Delfim Esteves was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 28th match minute, Sameiro was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Pedro Paiva to maneuver through the defense. After 31 minutes Sameiro's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Diamantino Moreira who took care of the corner kick. After taking down the ball on Calvino FC's corner David Tavares fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Delfim Esteves quite easily take care of the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 43rd minute, Miguel Ferro managed to get in a good position for a shot. Sameiro's supporters rose to their feet, but Miguel Ferro was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Filipe Maia breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Delfim Esteves didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Paulo Neves went, in the 46th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-0 was the resulting score.

Eduardo Simões hit a great freekick 56 minutes into the match. In the 59th minute Sameiro were awarded a corner. Hélder Neto went to the cornerflag to take it. Delfim Esteves showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ricardo Correia in the 63rd minute of the match. Américo Santos received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 70th minute. Filipe Maia tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 72nd minute Miguel Ferro shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Filipe Maia saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Joel Dantas might have been able to make a better finish in the 80th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Filipe Maia. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Joel Dantas ran back to his position shaking his head. After a defensive mix-up in Sameiro's zone, Ricardo Correia stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Delfim Esteves came out of the goal and Ricardo Correia tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Carlos Neves kicked well hit freekick during the 84th minute of the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Ricardo Correia in the 85th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Delfim Esteves saved Sameiro from getting behind. 87 minutes into the match, Calvino FC's goal looked a bit too open when Miguel Ferro came free, but Filipe Maia reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Miguel Ferro in the 88th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Filipe Maia prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Calvino FC had won after a very even match.
