Mariano Resende kicked well hit freekick during the 4th minute of the match. 6 minutes into the match, SC Sibilheiro's goal looked a bit too open when Basílio Morais came free, but Viriato Coimbra reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. David Araújo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 9th minute. David Amaral tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Pedro Faro in the 11th minute of play forced Perelada's goalkeeper David Amaral to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Adelino Azevedo got free with Viriato Coimbra in the 16th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Amílcar Ribeiro during the 25th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of Perelada booed when SC Sibilheiro was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 25 match minutes in a wonderful position. Amílcar Ribeiro didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 26th minute, Adelino Azevedo got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Viriato Coimbra made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Basílio Morais in the 29th minute of play. Amílcar Ribeiro got his second yellow card in the match during the 29th minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. An unexpectedly hard shot by David Araújo in the 33rd minute of play forced Perelada's goalkeeper David Amaral to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Adelino Azevedo could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 37th minute of the match, but Viriato Coimbra made a huge save. 38 minutes into the match, Basílio Morais dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Viriato Coimbra, 1-0. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Basílio Morais to make the kick off. In the 51st match minute, SC Sibilheiro was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by João Andrade to maneuver through the defense. 53 minutes into the match, Perelada's Adelino Azevedo sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Viriato Coimbra narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Perelada were awarded a corner in the 55th minute after SC Sibilheiro's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Luís Pinho took the corner. The corner led Perelada's Luís Pinho to fire away a dangerous shot which Viriato Coimbra despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. A collision led to SC Sibilheiro getting a freekick after 56 minutes play. Mariano Resende hit a great ball. In the 57th minute of the match Luís Pinho sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Viriato Coimbra skillfully saved the ball. David Araújo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 66th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. David Araújo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 67th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without David Amaral having to interfere. Adelino Azevedo hit a great freekick 70 minutes into the match. In the 71st minute, Adelino Azevedo made a precise shot to the right of Viriato Coimbra. SC Sibilheiro's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-0. If Basílio Morais had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 75th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. SC Sibilheiro's Viriato Coimbra played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Adelino Azevedo in the 77th minute of play. In the 80th minute the ball was on its way in behind SC Sibilheiro's goalkeeper Viriato Coimbra, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Adelino Azevedo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 81st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Viriato Coimbra having to interfere. Adelino Azevedo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 84th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Viriato Coimbra stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Basílio Morais's shot from short distance in the 89th minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 90th minute, Adelino Azevedo managed to get in a good position for a shot. Perelada's supporters rose to their feet, but Adelino Azevedo was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Viriato Coimbra breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Basílio Morais received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 92nd minute. Viriato Coimbra tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Viriato Coimbra showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Adelino Azevedo in the 94th minute of the match. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Diamantino Setúbal during the 96th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 96 played minutes Perelada got a freekick which was hit by Diamantino Setúbal. Perelada's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
