Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Tomás Araújo took the kick off in the first half of the match. 3 minutes into the match, Carpinteiras FC's goalkeeper Bruno Pinto had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Domingos Faro. The supporters of SC Trutas booed when Carpinteiras FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 5 match minutes in a wonderful position. Rui Barbosa didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 7th minute, Manuel Morais fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Bruno Pinto, passed just outside the right post. If Domingos Faro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 10th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 16 minutes into the match, Carpinteiras FC's goal looked a bit too open when Manuel Morais came free, but Bruno Pinto reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When the match clock showed 27 minutes, the score became 1-0 when Domingos Faro sped through Carpinteiras FC's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Bruno Pinto. Carpinteiras FC's Tomás Araújo got a good chance for a goal in the 37th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Jacinto Luz scored 1-1 in the 44th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Afonso Paredes, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Domingos Faro sent away a hard shot on goal in the 47th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

Jacinto Luz's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Afonso Paredes read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 53rd minute of play. Jacinto Luz received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 54th minute. Afonso Paredes tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Cândido Viegas charged in rather forcefully in the 55th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Cândido Viegas the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 56 played minutes SC Trutas got a freekick which was hit by Cândido Viegas. The audience was convinced that Tomás Araújo's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Afonso Paredes was relentless in the 57th minute of the game. Jacinto Luz could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 60th minute of the match, but Afonso Paredes made a huge save. Bruno Pinto took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Domingos Faro, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 67 minutes into the game, one of SC Trutas:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Gil Moniz shot the penalty kick by force right in the crossbar. No goal. Jacinto Luz could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 74th minute of the match, but Afonso Paredes made a huge save. In the 74th match minute, SC Trutas was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Mariano Paredes to maneuver through the defense. After some fancy dribbling in the 76th minute, Tomás Araújo managed to get in a good position for a shot. Carpinteiras FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Tomás Araújo was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Afonso Paredes breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. If Manuel Morais had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 80th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Jacinto Luz struck a weak shot in the 95th minute. Afonso Paredes didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Carpinteiras FC. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Carpinteiras FC had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
