Nuno Fontes sent away a hard shot on goal in the 23rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Rui Antunes showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Mariano Paredes in the 27th minute of the match. Rogério Vaz could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 32nd minute of the match, but Afonso Paredes made a huge save. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Nuno Fontes couldn't finish the play. After a defensive mix-up in Zimbral's zone, Manuel Morais stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Rui Antunes came out of the goal and Manuel Morais tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Domingos Faro sent away a hard shot on goal in the 44th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Rui Antunes showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Manuel Morais in the 47th minute of the match. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Cristiano Freitas during the 47th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 98th minute, Nuno Fontes got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. When the referee blew the final whistle, you could see the dissatisfaction in the SC Trutas players' eyes. They were disappointed they hadn't taken more from the game.
