Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Joaquim Mota made the kick off which started today's match. José Brito made an important save on a dangerous shot by Cláudio Fonseca in the 3rd minute. In the 6th match minute, SC Danaia was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Rui Neto to maneuver through the defense. After recieving a nice pass, SC Escadabouca's Armindo Brás tried to score from far away in the 7th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. Miguel Cabral took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Basílio Pinto, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a defensive mix-up in SC Escadabouca's zone, Basílio Pinto stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Miguel Cabral came out of the goal and Basílio Pinto tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 19th minute Joaquim Mota shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but José Brito saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 21st minute, Manuel Pires hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 29 played minutes SC Danaia got a freekick which was hit by Rui Rodrigues. In the 34th minute Joaquim Mota shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but José Brito saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Joaquim Mota sent away a hard shot on goal in the 35th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After some fancy dribbling in the 38th minute, Joaquim Mota managed to get in a good position for a shot. SC Escadabouca's supporters rose to their feet, but Joaquim Mota was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. José Brito breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Basílio Pinto might have been able to make a better finish in the 45th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Miguel Cabral. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Basílio Pinto ran back to his position shaking his head. If Augusto Sousa had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 47th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

SC Danaia's José Brito played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Joaquim Mota in the 58th minute of play. In the 58th minute, Jorge Macedo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 61 minutes into the game, Cláudio Fonseca cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-0. José Brito was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After 68 played minutes, SC Escadabouca's Armindo Brás shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper José Brito came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in SC Escadabouca reached it. In the 69th match minute, SC Danaia was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Augusto Sousa to maneuver through the defense. If Cláudio Fonseca had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 71st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. José Brito showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cláudio Fonseca in the 76th minute of the match. Basílio Pinto in the 78thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Miguel Cabral, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. SC Danaia's Jorge Macedo got his second yellow card of the match in the 80th minute. The referee ordered Jorge Macedo off the ground. After a rather tough play, SC Danaia's Jorge Macedo got a free kick in the 81st minute. Cláudio Fonseca fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 82nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without José Brito having to interfere. After 86 minutes, Joaquim Mota made it 2-0 with a short kick to the right side. SC Danaia's José Brito tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. After 90 played minutes SC Danaia got a freekick which was hit by Augusto Sousa. Joaquim Mota struck a weak shot in the 93rd minute. José Brito didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for SC Escadabouca. Nuno Araújo kicked well hit freekick during the 95th minute of the match.
