Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Miguel Morais got the match started through his kick off. 6 minutes into the match, Bugarreos FC's goal looked a bit too open when Miguel Morais came free, but Fernando Martins reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Miguel Morais sent away a hard shot on goal in the 17th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. 20 minutes into the game, Joel Resende was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Bugarreos FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave SC Cursaes the free kick. In the 20th match minute, Bugarreos FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Joel Resende to maneuver through the defense. In the 26thth minute of the game José Luz who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but SC Cursaes's Júlio Dias was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Nuno Borba sent away a hard shot on goal in the 31st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If José Luz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 43rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when José Luz stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After a rather tough play, Bugarreos FC's Mariano Viana got a free kick in the 56th minute. Nuno Borba fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 65th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Fernando Martins having to interfere. Fernando Martins made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Miguel Morais in the 68th minute of play. 69 minutes into the game, Miguel Morais recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Fernando Martins. Miguel Morais showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-2. Miguel Morais fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 73rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Fernando Martins having to interfere. José Luz received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 78th minute. Júlio Dias tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 83 played minutes Bugarreos FC got a freekick which was hit by Fernando Lisboa. Abel Vaz received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 90th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by José Luz in the 97th minute of play forced SC Cursaes's goalkeeper Júlio Dias to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The SC Cursaes supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing SC Cursaes would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
