Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Viriato Carvalho kicked off to start the match. In the 6th minute Viriato Carvalho shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but João Melo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Cândido Machado during the 7th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of Carvalhelhos booed when Soutelinhos FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 7 match minutes in a wonderful position. Cândido Machado didn't get a good kick on the ball. 12 minutes into the game, Carvalhelhos's Nuno Maia nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. João Melo made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-0. After a rather tough play, Soutelinhos FC's Daniel Monteiro got a free kick in the 17th minute. Nuno Maia received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. João Melo came out and tried to block the shot, but Nuno Maia slotted it home off the left post making it 2-0 in the 19th minute. Miguel Amorim took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Bruno Guerreiro, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 39 played minutes Soutelinhos FC got a freekick which was hit by Cândido Machado. Nuno Maia blasted a shot towards the goal in the 43rd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without João Melo having to make a save. João Melo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Viriato Carvalho in the 44th minute of play. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-0 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Rui Pedroso to make the kick off. Viriato Carvalho received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 54th minute. João Melo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 58 minutes into the match, Carvalhelhos's goal looked a bit too open when Rui Pedroso came free, but Miguel Amorim reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The crowd rose to their feet as Bruno Guerreiro kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Miguel Amorim. That made the score 2-1 in the 60 minute of play. In the 68th minute, Simão Maia hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Bruno Guerreiros short, quick shot in the 73rdth minute got Miguel Amorim to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Soutelinhos FC's João Melo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Nuno Maia in the 78th minute of play. João Melo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Nuno Maia in the 80th minute of play. In the 86th minute Rui Pedroso shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Miguel Amorim saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 87 minutes into the game, Soutelinhos FC's Bruno Guerreiro nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Miguel Amorim made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-2. Neither set of supporters seemed pleased with the draw, but both teams had played equally well today.
