Rafael Aguiar showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Joel Lisboa in the 7th minute of the match. After 9 minutes, Bernardo Leão mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Cabreira and the SC Alecrineira players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 9 played minutes Cabreira got a freekick which was hit by Bernardo Leão. In the 13th minute Marco Martins shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but André Nunes saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 14th minute, Joaquim Setúbal got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 22nd match minute, SC Alecrineira was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Joaquim Branco to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by Marco Martins in the 26th minute of play forced Cabreira's goalkeeper André Nunes to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Joel Lisboa kicked well hit freekick during the 29th minute of the match. SC Alecrineira's Rafael Aguiar played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Joaquim Setúbal in the 35th minute of play. Marco Martins received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 38th minute. André Nunes tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Humberto Machado came up free with the goalie in the 39th minute, the SC Alecrineira fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Humberto Machado couldn't finish the play. Rafael Aguiar showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Joaquim Setúbal, who was totally free with the ball in the 44th minute. If Joel Lisboa had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 45th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Cabreira's Joaquim Setúbal in 48 game minutes managed to cut through with the ball in front of the goal, only having to shoot. Rafael Aguiar guarding the goal like a pit bull was extremely focused and managed to reach the ball just by the crossbar before it went in. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The wind increased when Joaquim Setúbal made the kick off in the second half. If Joaquim Setúbal had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 55th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Thanks to some nice moves Joel Lisboa could shoot a difficult shot in the 57th minute, which Rafael Aguiar however easily saved by the left post. When Raul Ramos fell near the penalty area in the 61st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored SC Alecrineira's protests and gave Raul Ramos a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, SC Alecrineira's Raul Ramos got a free kick in the 61st minute. Joaquim Correia, 62 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. SC Alecrineira's Rafael Aguiar played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Joaquim Setúbal in the 65th minute of play. Raul Ramos hit a great ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 92nd minute, Joaquim Branco managed to get in a good position for a shot. SC Alecrineira's supporters rose to their feet, but Joaquim Branco was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. André Nunes breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Cabreira's Bernardo Leão got his second yellow card of the match in the 96th minute. The referee ordered Bernardo Leão off the ground. In the 97th match minute, Cabreira was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Bernardo Leão to maneuver through the defense. The SC Alecrineira fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Cabreira were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
