The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. 7 minutes into the game, Cláudio Machado lined in a short shot 1-0 behind a frustrated Gustavo Pinheiro. Piquete's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
