Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Lavradio FC's Cândido Neves started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Jorge Pacheco blasted a shot towards the goal in the 3rd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Catarino Guerreiro having to make a save. Miguel Queirós received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 8th minute. Catarino Guerreiro tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Hélder Martins was a little too slow when Cândido Neves got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 10th minute. The score was now 1-0. 14 minutes into the match, Lavradio FC's goal looked a bit too open when Jorge Pacheco came free, but Catarino Guerreiro reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Catarino Guerreiro made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jorge Pacheco in the 15th minute of play. After having played for 17 minutes, Jorge Pacheco managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Dianteiro FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Jorge Pacheco was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Jorge Pacheco sent away a hard shot on goal in the 24th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Lavradio FC's Cândido Neves got a good chance for a goal in the 26th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After 27 played minutes Dianteiro FC got a freekick which was hit by Cristiano Leal. When José Lima fell near the penalty area in the 28th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Dianteiro FC's protests and gave José Lima a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Lavradio FC booed when Dianteiro FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 28 match minutes in a wonderful position. José Lima didn't get a good kick on the ball. A collision led to Dianteiro FC getting a freekick after 30 minutes play. Cristiano Leal hit a great ball. If Cândido Neves had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 33rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 35 minutes into the match, Tomás Mendes notched a goal, 3-0, to the right of Dianteiro FC's Hélder Martins. Hélder Martins was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. A collision led to Lavradio FC getting a freekick after 40 minutes play. Bernardo Brás hit a great ball.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Jorge Pacheco to make the kick off. Catarino Guerreiro showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jorge Pacheco, who was totally free with the ball in the 53rd minute. In the 54th match minute, Lavradio FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Sebastião Macedo to maneuver through the defense. Luís Porto kicked well hit freekick during the 56th minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in Lavradio FC's zone, Miguel Queirós stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Catarino Guerreiro came out of the goal and Miguel Queirós tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. With a little luck, Lavradio FC's Catarino Guerreiro got control of the ball when Miguel Queirós tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 72nd minute Jorge Pacheco shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Catarino Guerreiro saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Miguel Queirós could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 73rd minute of the match, but Catarino Guerreiro made a huge save. The supporters of Lavradio FC booed when Dianteiro FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 76 match minutes in a wonderful position. Abel Pinto didn't get a good kick on the ball. Hélder Martins showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cândido Neves, who was totally free with the ball in the 89th minute. In the 91st match minute, Dianteiro FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Abel Pinto to maneuver through the defense. 92 minutes into the match, Lavradio FC's Sebastião Macedo broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. Dianteiro FC's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
