Spectators: 33 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Joel Viegas made the kick off which started today's match. Manhenha FC's Cristiano Luz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Afonso Nunes in the 3rd minute of play. Cristiano Luz didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Afonso Nunes went, in the 4th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. Cristiano Luz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Joel Viegas in the 7th minute of play. If Afonso Nunes had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 11th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Joel Viegas received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 12th minute. Cristiano Luz tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Cristiano Luz showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Joel Viegas, who was totally free with the ball in the 14th minute. In the 16th minute Júlio Barbosa shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ricardo Borba saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 17th match minute, Manhenha FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Eusébio Machado to maneuver through the defense. Eusébio Machado's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Ricardo Borba firmly grabbed it by the left post. A collision led to Arcos getting a freekick after 21 minutes play. Nuno Luz hit a great ball. Nuno Ramos took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 23rd minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Cristiano Luz. Manhenha FC's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. In the 26th minute Afonso Nunes shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cristiano Luz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Afonso Nunes sent away a hard shot on goal in the 29th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Joel Viegas struck a weak shot in the 31st minute. Cristiano Luz didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Arcos. After some fancy dribbling in the 32nd minute, Joel Viegas managed to get in a good position for a shot. Arcos's supporters rose to their feet, but Joel Viegas was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Cristiano Luz breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Miguel Melo kicked well hit freekick during the 34th minute of the match. If Júlio Barbosa had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 39th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Júlio Barbosa's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Ricardo Borba read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 41st minute of play. After 49 minutes, Nuno Ramos mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Arcos and the Manhenha FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 48th minute, one of Arcos:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Arcos. The referee gave Manhenha FC a penalty, 51 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Miguel Melo, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Arcos's Ricardo Borba. 1-2. Disappointed in the 1-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

An unexpectedly hard shot by Cristiano Silva in the 57th minute of play forced Arcos's goalkeeper Ricardo Borba to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Afonso Nunes struck a weak shot in the 58th minute. Cristiano Luz didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Arcos. In the 61st match minute, Manhenha FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Joaquim Gueifão to maneuver through the defense. Afonso Soares sent away a hard shot on goal in the 63rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. With a little luck, Manhenha FC's Cristiano Luz got control of the ball when Afonso Nunes tried to sneak it across the goal line. The supporters of Arcos booed when Manhenha FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 77 match minutes in a wonderful position. Joaquim Gueifão didn't get a good kick on the ball. Joel Viegas fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 90th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cristiano Luz having to interfere. Ricardo Borba came out of the goal in the 95th minute to try and stop a shot by Manhenha FC's Júlio Barbosa. But to his dismay, Júlio Barbosa quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-2. Cristiano Luz made a fantastic save in the 100th minute, when Nuno Luz sent off a good shot on target.
