Spectators: 33 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Cha's Alexandre Azevedo started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. José Lisboa made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Xavier Torres in the 7th minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 10th minute, Lúcio Luz managed to get in a good position for a shot. Cha's supporters rose to their feet, but Lúcio Luz was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Nuno Assunção breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. With his leg Nuno Assunção managed to avoid a goal in the 12thth minute, when Cha's Lúcio Luz fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. José Lisboa made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Xavier Torres in the 17th minute of play. Alexandre Azevedo blasted a shot towards the goal in the 19th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Nuno Assunção having to make a save. After 22 minutes of play, Cha's Lúcio Luz made it 1-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Nuno Assunção was left in no man's land by his defense there! Nuno Assunção made a fantastic save in the 30th minute, when Pedro Dias sent off a good shot on target. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Henrique Martins during the 31st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of Cha booed when Machede FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 31 match minutes in a wonderful position. Henrique Martins didn't get a good kick on the ball. 32 minutes into the match, Machede FC's goal looked a bit too open when Alexandre Azevedo came free, but Nuno Assunção reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Eduardo Henriques stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. 56 minutes into the game, Filipe Assis was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Machede FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Cha the free kick. The supporters of Cha booed when Machede FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 56 match minutes in a wonderful position. Filipe Assis didn't get a good kick on the ball. Lúcio Luz recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 60th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 62nd minute, Alexandre Azevedo got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Xavier Torres fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 65th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without José Lisboa having to interfere. Cha's José Lisboa played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Eduardo Henriques in the 68th minute of play. Nuno Assunção showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Alexandre Azevedo, who was totally free with the ball in the 71st minute. Alexandre Azevedo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 87th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Nuno Assunção having to interfere. Nuno Assunção took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Lúcio Luz, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Alexandre Azevedo hit a great freekick 93 minutes into the match. Cha walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
