In the 9th minute João Santarém shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Adelino Soares saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. António Pinheiro sent away a hard shot on goal in the 18th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. António Pinheiro fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 26th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jaime Coimbra having to interfere. SC Botelhas's Jaime Coimbra proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 33rd minute of the match, managed to save SC Botelhas from getting a goal against them. Thanks to some nice moves António Pinheiro could shoot a difficult shot in the 35th minute, which Jaime Coimbra however easily saved by the left post. António Pinheiro fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 38th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jaime Coimbra having to interfere. Bernardo Coimbra sent away a hard shot on goal in the 40th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpectedly hard shot by Pedro Faro in the 49th minute of play forced Ventureira's goalkeeper Adelino Soares to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

When Pedro Rocha fell near the penalty area in the 54th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Ventureira's protests and gave Pedro Rocha a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of SC Botelhas booed when Ventureira was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 54 match minutes in a wonderful position. Pedro Rocha didn't get a good kick on the ball. SC Botelhas's João Santarém got a good chance for a goal in the 59th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Jaime Coimbra didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Bernardo Coimbra went, in the 62nd minute, to the upper right corner, 2-0 was the resulting score. 68 minutes into the match, SC Botelhas's goal looked a bit too open when António Pinheiro came free, but Jaime Coimbra reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by João Santarém in the 70th minute of play forced Ventureira's goalkeeper Adelino Soares to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Ventureira's zone, Sandro Marques stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Adelino Soares came out of the goal and Sandro Marques tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After 75 minutes, Lucas Esteves mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Ventureira and the SC Botelhas players grew even worse after the yellow card. Sandro Marques's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Adelino Soares firmly grabbed it by the left post. 3-1 became the score in the 86th minute when João Santarém elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. For all the effort they put into the match, the SC Botelhas players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Ventureira.
