Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Joel Brás started the match with the kick off. After 3 played minutes SC Susao got a freekick which was hit by Albertino Mota. After 4 minutes, Pedro Faro mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the SC Botelhas and the SC Susao players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, SC Botelhas's Pedro Faro got a free kick in the 5th minute. Jorge Lisboa fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 7th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jaime Coimbra having to interfere. Simão Dias made a fantastic save in the 9th minute, when Sandro Marques sent off a good shot on target. In the 15th minute, António Alves hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 16th minute of the match João Silva shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Jaime Coimbra showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. In the 20th minute, Rui Morais hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a defensive mix-up in SC Susao's zone, Sandro Marques stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Simão Dias came out of the goal and Sandro Marques tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. João Santarém sent away a hard shot on goal in the 25th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 28th minute João Santarém shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Simão Dias saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Joel Brás had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 39th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After some fancy dribbling in the 41st minute, Sandro Marques managed to get in a good position for a shot. SC Botelhas's supporters rose to their feet, but Sandro Marques was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Simão Dias breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The audience was convinced that Jorge Lisboa's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Jaime Coimbra was relentless in the 46th minute of the game. António Alves's late challenge caught a SC Susao's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. António Alves helped the player get up and apologised. António Alves kicked well hit freekick during the 47th minute of the match. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 0-0 after a close first half.

SC Botelhas's João Santarém got a good chance for a goal in the 59th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 61st minute, João Santarém got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 67th minute, Albertino Mota hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 72ndth minute of the game Sandro Marques who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but SC Susao's Simão Dias was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Joel Brás sent away a hard shot on goal in the 73rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 78 minutes into the match, SC Susao's Jorge Lisboa sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Jaime Coimbra narrowly saved just below the crossbar.
