Pedro Santarém was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. Eduardo Gomes fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 16th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Pedro Santarém having to interfere. Eduardo Gomes hit a great freekick 19 minutes into the match. In the 23rd minute, Eduardo Gomes made a precise shot to the right of Pedro Santarém. Lanceiros FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-2. Lanceiros FC's Pedro Santarém played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Eduardo Gomes in the 26th minute of play. In the 27th match minute, Lanceiros FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Vítor Matos to maneuver through the defense. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Simão Dantas in the 32nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Pedro Santarém prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Eduardo Gomes fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 33rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Pedro Santarém having to interfere. Emanuel Branco sent away a hard shot on goal in the 35th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Delfim Silva during the 37th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, Cromil FC's Delfim Silva got a free kick in the 37th minute. Cristóvão Correia's late challenge caught a Lanceiros FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Cristóvão Correia helped the player get up and apologised. A nice corner shot did that Bernardo Jesus got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Manuel Alves quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. In a very dangerous position, a player in Cromil FC fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 46th minute. Penalty! In the 48th minute there was a penalty for Lanceiros FC. Bernardo Jesus stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Manuel Alves. 1-2. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 1-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Eduardo Gomes was the one to do the kick off. Manuel Alves didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from António Morais went, in the 57th minute, to the upper right corner, 3-2 was the resulting score. In the 63rd minute, Cristóvão Correia hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 66th minute, António Morais ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Manuel Alves was frozen by the shot and now it was 4-2. In the 71st minute, António Guarda hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 72nd minute, Domingos Alves sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Lanceiros FC's Pedro Santarém didn't even have to move. António Guarda kicked well hit freekick during the 76th minute of the match. After recieving a nice pass, Cromil FC's Domingos Alves tried to score from far away in the 77th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. Manuel Alves stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of António Morais's shot from short distance in the 81st minute. Emanuel Branco sent away a hard shot on goal in the 82nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. A collision led to Cromil FC getting a freekick after 85 minutes play. Gil Paredes hit a great ball. Cromil FC's Manuel Alves played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Emanuel Branco in the 86th minute of play. In the 88th minute Emanuel Branco shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Manuel Alves saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.
