Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) André Coelho started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. After 4 minutes, Joaquim Dantas made it 1-0 with a short kick to the right side. SC Romarigaes's Carlos Pacheco tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Joaquim Dantas charged in rather forcefully in the 8th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Joaquim Dantas the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to SC Goncalvinhos getting a freekick after 9 minutes play. Joaquim Dantas hit a great ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers André Coelho in the 10th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Jorge Martins saved SC Goncalvinhos from getting behind. Daniel Cunha sent away a hard shot on goal in the 11th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Carlos Pacheco took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Joaquim Dantas, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Daniel Cunha who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 16thth minute tested the skills of Carlos Pacheco when he managed to save the team from getting behind. In the 20th minute Joaquim Dantas shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Carlos Pacheco saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Daniel Cunha came up free with the goalie in the 28th minute, the SC Goncalvinhos fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Daniel Cunha couldn't finish the play. If Daniel Cunha had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 32nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. André Coelho blasted a shot towards the goal in the 47th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Jorge Martins having to make a save. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Joaquim Dantas made a kick off. The supporters of SC Goncalvinhos booed when SC Romarigaes was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 53 match minutes in a wonderful position. Sandro Cabral didn't get a good kick on the ball. Joaquim Dantas sent away a hard shot on goal in the 55th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a defensive mix-up in SC Goncalvinhos's zone, Daniel Resende stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jorge Martins came out of the goal and Daniel Resende tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 60th minute, Daniel Resende managed to get in a good position for a shot. SC Romarigaes's supporters rose to their feet, but Daniel Resende was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Jorge Martins breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. When Sandro Cabral was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 62 minutes had been played. In the 64th minute, Daniel Cunha ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Carlos Pacheco was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-0. With a little luck, SC Goncalvinhos's Jorge Martins got control of the ball when Daniel Resende tried to sneak it across the goal line. Carlos Pacheco made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Joaquim Dantas in the 69th minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 70th minute, Daniel Cunha managed to get in a good position for a shot. SC Goncalvinhos's supporters rose to their feet, but Daniel Cunha was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Carlos Pacheco breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 85th minute Joaquim Dantas shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Carlos Pacheco saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Carlos Pacheco showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Daniel Cunha, who was totally free with the ball in the 88th minute. In the 92nd minute, Daniel Resende got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. SC Goncalvinhos had won after a very even match.
