Manuel Coelho sent away a hard shot on goal in the 5th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Vítor Figueiredo was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 8th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. Manuel Coelho could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 10th minute of the match, but Marco Correia made a huge save. 13 minutes into the match, Gonçalo Delgado dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Marco Correia, 1-0. After having played for 16 minutes, David Pedroso managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Campos's supporters crossed their fingers, but David Pedroso was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 19 minutes into the match, Campos's goalkeeper Marco Correia had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Manuel Coelho. 22 minutes into the game, Gonçalo Delgado recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Marco Correia. Gonçalo Delgado showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 2-0. Marco Pinheiro hit a great freekick 25 minutes into the match. In the 26th minute, Vítor Figueiredo got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 27th match minute, Campos was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Lúcio Ribeiro to maneuver through the defense. 28 minutes into the match, Manuel Coelho notched a goal, 3-0, to the right of Campos's Marco Correia. Marco Correia was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Campos's Marco Correia proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 33rd minute of the match, managed to save Campos from getting a goal against them. If Gonçalo Delgado had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 40th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Marco Correia showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gonçalo Delgado, who was totally free with the ball in the 42nd minute. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 3-0.
An unexpectedly hard shot by Manuel Coelho in the 53rd minute of play forced Campos's goalkeeper Marco Correia to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Cristiano Magalhães showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Basílio Soares in the 58th minute of the match. David Pedroso took the ball and in the 60 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Cristiano Magalhães. Cristiano Magalhães dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-1. After a rather tough play, Campos's António Pedroso got a free kick in the 66th minute. In the 72nd minute, António Pedroso got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The audience thought a goal was coming when David Pedroso got free with Cristiano Magalhães in the 74th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 78 minutes into the match, Campos's goal looked a bit too open when Manuel Coelho came free, but Marco Correia reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 86 minutes into the game, Ervosa's Gonçalo Delgado nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Marco Correia made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 4-2.
