David Faria really showed his touch with that goal: 1-0. An unexpected shot in the 6th minute by David Faria got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. After 7 minutes of play, SC Sentinela's Simão Amaro made it 2-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Rogério Cruz was left in no man's land by his defense there! The audience was convinced that Bruno Matias's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Alfredo Lisboa was relentless in the 12th minute of the game. A collision led to Armada getting a freekick after 15 minutes play. Daniel Almeida hit a great ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers David Faria in the 25th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Rogério Cruz saved Armada from getting behind. If Luís Pinto had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 29th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Bruno Matias sent away a hard shot on goal in the 31st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 34th minute, Bruno Matias got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The wind increased when David Faria made the kick off in the second half. Simão Amaro received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 55th minute. Rogério Cruz tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When David Faria came up free with the goalie in the 63rd minute, the SC Sentinela fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that David Faria couldn't finish the play. Armada's Rogério Cruz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by David Faria in the 68th minute of play. In the 75th minute David Faria shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rogério Cruz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Rogério Cruz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from David Faria in the 77th minute of play. Luís Pinto fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 80th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Alfredo Lisboa having to interfere. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Bruno Matias in the 82nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Alfredo Lisboa prevented the ball from getting in the gole. When Delfim Teixeira fell near the penalty area in the 90th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Armada's protests and gave Delfim Teixeira a yellow card for diving instead.
