Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Bruno Matias got the match started through his kick off. When Gil Cabral came up free with the goalie in the 7th minute, the Famoes FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Gil Cabral couldn't finish the play. If Luís Pinto had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 11th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. After 15 played minutes Famoes FC got a freekick which was hit by Paulo Macedo. Armada's Rogério Cruz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gil Cabral in the 19th minute of play. Bruno Matias received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 22nd minute. Rogério Rocha tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 28 minutes into the match, Armada's Luís Pinto sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Rogério Rocha narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Luís Pinto who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 30thth minute tested the skills of Rogério Rocha when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Gil Cabral received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 32nd minute. Rogério Cruz tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Rogério Rocha showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Bruno Matias, who was totally free with the ball in the 34th minute. After having played for 35 minutes, Luís Pinto managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Armada's supporters crossed their fingers, but Luís Pinto was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. When Bruno Matias came up free with the goalie in the 40th minute, the Armada fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Bruno Matias couldn't finish the play. Luís Pinto sent away a hard shot on goal in the 42nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a rather tough play, Armada's Bruno Matias got a free kick in the 44th minute. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Gil Cabral was the one to do the kick off. Rogério Cruz made a fantastic save in the 54th minute, when Eduardo Faro sent off a good shot on target. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Daniel Soares during the 55th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Armada's Luís Pinto got a good chance for a goal in the 61st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 63rd minute, Eduardo Faro made a precise shot to the right of Rogério Cruz. Armada's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-1. When Eduardo Faro came up free with the goalie in the 70th minute, the Famoes FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Eduardo Faro couldn't finish the play. Eduardo Faros short, quick shot in the 71stth minute got Rogério Cruz to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Everyone was convinced a goal was close when Famoes FC's Gil Cabral in the 73rd minute lifted the ball towards the upper right corner, but Rogério Cruz was perfectly placed and prevented a goal for Armada through an amazing save. Rogério Rocha made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Luís Pinto in the 76th minute of play. During the 77th minute of the match Daniel Soares completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Daniel Soares a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. Daniel Soares hit a great freekick 77 minutes into the match. When João Vale fell near the penalty area in the 85th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Armada's protests and gave João Vale a yellow card for diving instead. In the 93rd minute the ball was on its way in behind Armada's goalkeeper Rogério Cruz, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Rogério Cruz made a fantastic save in the 95th minute, when Eduardo Faro sent off a good shot on target. A collision led to Armada getting a freekick after 95 minutes play. Bruno Matias hit a great ball. Eduardo Faro came free with the goalkeeper in the 98th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Rogério Cruz could save by the left post. Rogério Cruz made a fantastic save in the 99th minute, when Eduardo Faro sent off a good shot on target. Famoes FC's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
