Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when António Magalhães made the kick off which started today's match. 3 minutes into the game, Raul Amaro cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-0. André Vale was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. A collision led to Sitio FC getting a freekick after 10 minutes play. Fábio Almeida hit a great ball. The goalkeeper, André Vale, was totally fooled by Pombais's Raul Antunes, who 16 minutes into the game made a penalty shot that went in on the goalkeeper's left side. André Vale showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Sebastião Branco, who was totally free with the ball in the 20th minute. António Magalhães's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Bruno Andrade read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 22nd minute of play. In the 23rd minute, Abel Magalhães hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Paulo Santarém received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 24th minute. Bruno Andrade tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. António Magalhães recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 26th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Paulo Santarém took the ball and in the 27 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Bruno Andrade. Bruno Andrade dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-1. In the 30th minute, Carlos Teixeira hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Paulo Santarém fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 34th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Bruno Andrade having to interfere. Sitio FC's Fábio Almeida got his second yellow card of the match in the 37th minute. The referee ordered Fábio Almeida off the ground. In a very dangerous position, a player in Sitio FC fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 36th minute. Penalty! André Vale went to the wrong direction when Raul Antunes was taking care of the penalty kick which however missed the goal. Sebastião Branco fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 43rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without André Vale having to interfere. 49 minutes into the game, David Baptista was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Pombais's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Sitio FC the free kick. In the 49th minute, David Baptista hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-1 at half-time.
The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Sebastião Branco was the one to do the kick off. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Raul Antunes during the 54th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 54th match minute, Pombais was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Raul Antunes to maneuver through the defense. André Vale took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Raul Amaro, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. With a little luck, Pombais's Bruno Andrade got control of the ball when Paulo Santarém tried to sneak it across the goal line. Paulo Santarém fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 69th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Bruno Andrade having to interfere. Paulo Santarém sent away a hard shot on goal in the 75th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 82 minutes, Abel Magalhães mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Pombais and the Sitio FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a defensive mix-up in Sitio FC's zone, Raul Amaro stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. André Vale came out of the goal and Raul Amaro tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. André Vale showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Carlos Lopes, who was totally free with the ball in the 91st minute. Paulo Santarém received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 96th minute. Bruno Andrade tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 98 minutes into the match, Pombais's goalkeeper Bruno Andrade had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Paulo Santarém. Neither set of supporters seemed pleased with the draw, but both teams had played equally well today.
