Spectators: 33 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when João Santarém kicked off to start the match. In the 9th minute, Gabriel Oliveira hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 14 played minutes SC Jejua got a freekick which was hit by Gustavo Pinheiro. 14 minutes into the match, SC Jejua's goal looked a bit too open when Raul Correia came free, but Cláudio Paredes reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Armando Moutinho received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 17th minute. Cláudio Paredes tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Cláudio Paredes took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Armando Moutinho, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. SC Jejua's João Santarém got a good chance for a goal in the 25th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Fernando Pinto kicked well hit freekick during the 28th minute of the match. 30 minutes into the game, João Santarém recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Joaquim Veiga. João Santarém showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-0. Fernando Queirós charged in rather forcefully in the 32nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Fernando Queirós the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 32 played minutes SC Jejua got a freekick which was hit by Fernando Queirós. Armando Moutinho took the ball and in the 38 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Cláudio Paredes. Cláudio Paredes dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-1. When SC Castendo's Armando Moutinho in the 42nd minute got a chance for a shot 42nd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye SC Jejua's goalie prevented a goal. Cláudio Paredes showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Raul Correia in the 45th minute of the match. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Armando Moutinho stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. An unexpectedly hard shot by Pedro Figueiredo in the 52nd minute of play forced SC Jejua's goalkeeper Cláudio Paredes to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. SC Castendo's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Gabriel Fontes in the 54th minute. A nice corner shot did that Gabriel Fontes got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Cláudio Paredes quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. In the 57th minute, Gabriel Fontes hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. João Santarém fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 60th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Joaquim Veiga having to interfere. After some careless play in the SC Castendo defense, João Santarém kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Joaquim Veiga. The SC Castendo fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Joaquim Veiga should have stopped the shot. After 69 minutes, Pedro Figueiredo mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the SC Castendo and the SC Jejua players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to SC Castendo getting a freekick after 69 minutes play. Pedro Figueiredo hit a great ball. In the 71st minute, João Santarém got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Armando Moutinho's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 79thth minute, Cláudio Paredes skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Nuno Leite fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 91st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Joaquim Veiga having to interfere. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Nuno Carvalho during the 93rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 96th minute, Raul Correia ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Cláudio Paredes was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-2.
