Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Diamantino Abreu started the match with the kick off. Luís Garcia succeeded in the game's 8th minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 1-0. After 12 played minutes Meirinho FC got a freekick which was hit by José Bessa. Rui Torres stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Luís Garcia's shot from short distance in the 13th minute. A collision led to Meirinho FC getting a freekick after 18 minutes play. Humberto Leal hit a great ball. After 25th play minutes Joaquim Mendes shot 1-1, a short shot which went by André Sousa and just under the crossbar into goal. André Sousa made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Joaquim Mendes in the 28th minute of play. In the 34thth minute of the game Joaquim Mendes who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Vermoil FC's André Sousa was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 36th match minute, Vermoil FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jaime Macedo to maneuver through the defense. André Sousa made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Diamantino Abreu in the 38th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Joaquim Mendes in the 39th minute of play forced Vermoil FC's goalkeeper André Sousa to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Afonso Monteiro received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 42nd minute. Rui Torres tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 44 minutes into the match, Vermoil FC's Luís Garcia sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Rui Torres narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Luís Garcia fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 47th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rui Torres having to interfere. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Luís Garcia stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After 54 minutes of play Meirinho FC's José Bessa was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. A collision led to Meirinho FC getting a freekick after 54 minutes play. José Bessa hit a great ball. Joaquim Mendes sent away a hard shot on goal in the 58th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Rui Torres made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Luís Garcia in the 61st minute of play. Rui Torres showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Luís Garcia, who was totally free with the ball in the 63rd minute. Rui Torres showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Afonso Monteiro in the 64th minute of the match. Basílio Amaral hit a great freekick 68 minutes into the match. Rui Torres made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Luís Garcia in the 73rd minute of play. Rui Torres came out of the goal in the 75th minute to try and stop a shot by Vermoil FC's Afonso Monteiro. But to his dismay, Afonso Monteiro quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-1. Afonso Monteiro might have been able to make a better finish in the 83rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Rui Torres. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Afonso Monteiro ran back to his position shaking his head. After 85 played minutes Vermoil FC got a freekick which was hit by Eusébio Reis. Joaquim Mendes could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 86th minute of the match, but André Sousa made a huge save. Vermoil FC's Luís Garcia got a good chance for a goal in the 95th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. If Afonso Monteiro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 97th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.
