Spectators: 33 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Daniel Brás started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. Ariero's Manuel Soares played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Daniel Brás in the 9th minute of play. The supporters of Ariero booed when Reca was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 11 match minutes in a wonderful position. Óscar Domingues didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 13 played minutes Reca got a freekick which was hit by Abel Oliveira. 16 minutes into the match, Ariero's Joaquim Fernandes sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Ricardo Azevedo narrowly saved just below the crossbar. When Joaquim Fernandes came up free with the goalie in the 17th minute, the Ariero fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Joaquim Fernandes couldn't finish the play. A collision led to Reca getting a freekick after 22 minutes play. Óscar Domingues hit a great ball. 32 minutes into the match António Nunes climbed in front of goal and pressed up 1-0 in the right cross behind a totally surprised Manuel Soares. 37 minutes into the game, António Nunes cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-0. Manuel Soares was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Augusto Carvalho sent away a hard shot on goal in the 42nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Ariero's Augusto Carvalho got a good chance for a goal in the 45th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-0.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Joaquim Fernandes made a kick off. Gabriel Melo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 52nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Augusto Carvalho could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 54th minute of the match, but Ricardo Azevedo made a huge save. After 55 minutes, Rogério Carneiro mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Reca and the Ariero players grew even worse after the yellow card. Rogério Carneiro hit a great freekick 55 minutes into the match. If António Nunes had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 59th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 61st minute Pedro Ramos shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Manuel Soares saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. António Nunes recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 70th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Manuel Soares stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of António Nunes's shot from short distance in the 74th minute. In the 76th minute, António Nunes got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Augusto Carvalho sent away a hard shot on goal in the 79th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Manuel Soares showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from António Nunes, who was totally free with the ball in the 81st minute. Augusto Carvalho fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 84th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ricardo Azevedo having to interfere. Augusto Carvalho received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 91st minute. Ricardo Azevedo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Ricardo Azevedo was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Joaquim Fernandes showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 2-1 in the 93 minute of play. Reca's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
