Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Albertino Aleixo took the kick off in the first half of the match. In the 6th minute the ball was on its way in behind SC Rande's goalkeeper Fernando Magalhães, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. João Pinho recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 7th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When Augusto Fontes fell near the penalty area in the 10th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored SC Rande's protests and gave Augusto Fontes a yellow card for diving instead. Augusto Fontes hit a great freekick 10 minutes into the match. 13 minutes into the match, Cardais FC's goal looked a bit too open when João Pinho came free, but Artur Aguiar reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. David Marques kicked well hit freekick during the 14th minute of the match. Artur Aguiar made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from João Pinho in the 17th minute of play. After 18 played minutes Cardais FC got a freekick which was hit by Armando Delgado. In the 23rd minute João Pinho shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Artur Aguiar saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The audience was convinced that João Pinho's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Artur Aguiar was relentless in the 31st minute of the game. Rafael Moura might have been able to make a better finish in the 38th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Fernando Magalhães. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Rafael Moura ran back to his position shaking his head. SC Rande's Fernando Magalhães played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Albertino Aleixo in the 40th minute of play. In the 43rd minute Adolfo Coelho shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Artur Aguiar saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. João Pinho was the one to do the kick off. João Pinho scored 0-1 in the 56th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Artur Aguiar, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After a rather tough play, Cardais FC's Armando Delgado got a free kick in the 59th minute. David Marques's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 61stth minute, Artur Aguiar skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Rafael Moura sent away a hard shot on goal in the 65th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Rafael Moura in the 73rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Fernando Magalhães prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Rafael Moura fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 78th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Fernando Magalhães having to interfere. With an all-out effort, SC Rande's Artur Aguiar threw himself towards the right post 87 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from João Pinho, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. 87 minutes into the game, SC Rande's João Pinho nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Artur Aguiar made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-2. João Pinho fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 91st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Artur Aguiar having to interfere. If João Pinho had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 96th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The SC Rande players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
