Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Marco Guarda made the kick off and thus started the match. Gil Cabral showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Amadeu Veiga in the 3rd minute of the match. António Sousa showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Marco Guarda, who was totally free with the ball in the 4th minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 6th minute, Abel Neves managed to get in a good position for a shot. SC Carocha's supporters rose to their feet, but Abel Neves was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Gil Cabral breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. When Rodrigo Paredes, who was free, got the in front of the goal in the 10 minute he wasn't focused and tipped the ball just over the goal. The António Sousa was delighted since the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar. If Marco Guarda had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 14th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Carlos Pereira kicked well hit freekick during the 17th minute of the match. SC Meirinhos's Gil Cabral played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Amadeu Veiga in the 19th minute of play. After some careless play in the SC Carocha defense, Rodrigo Paredes kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of António Sousa. The SC Carocha fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that António Sousa should have stopped the shot. After a rather tough play, SC Carocha's Lucas Costa got a free kick in the 28th minute. António Sousa showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Marco Guarda in the 33rd minute of the match. In the 35th minute Amadeu Veiga shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gil Cabral saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Amadeu Veiga might have been able to make a better finish in the 39th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Gil Cabral. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Amadeu Veiga ran back to his position shaking his head. SC Carocha's António Sousa played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gabriel Vaz in the 41st minute of play. Amadeu Veiga sent away a hard shot on goal in the 43rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Gil Cabral showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Amadeu Veiga, who was totally free with the ball in the 46th minute. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Amadeu Veiga made a kick off. The supporters of SC Carocha booed when SC Meirinhos was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 54 match minutes in a wonderful position. Lourenço Leal didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a defensive mix-up in SC Meirinhos's zone, Nuno Moura stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Gil Cabral came out of the goal and Nuno Moura tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After 57 minutes, Gaspar Costa mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the SC Meirinhos and the SC Carocha players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to SC Meirinhos getting a freekick after 57 minutes play. Gaspar Costa hit a great ball. Abel Neves recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 58th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Rodrigo Paredes struck a weak shot in the 63rd minute. António Sousa didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for SC Meirinhos. 73 minutes into the match, SC Meirinhos's goal looked a bit too open when Abel Neves came free, but Gil Cabral reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Gil Cabral took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Amadeu Veiga, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Marco Guarda blasted a shot towards the goal in the 77th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without António Sousa having to make a save. Lucas Costa's late challenge caught a SC Meirinhos's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Lucas Costa helped the player get up and apologised. In the 80th minute, Rodrigo Paredes fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of António Sousa, passed just outside the right post. 84 minutes into the match, SC Meirinhos's goal looked a bit too open when Nuno Moura came free, but Gil Cabral reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 88thth minute of the game Abel Neves who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but SC Meirinhos's Gil Cabral was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 89 minutes into the match, SC Carocha's goal looked a bit too open when Marco Guarda came free, but António Sousa reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Abel Neves took the ball and in the 91 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Gil Cabral. Gil Cabral dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-1. Marco Guarda received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 97th minute. António Sousa tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The SC Meirinhos players were the happier at the end of the match as they had prevented SC Carocha from taking control. The game ends in a draw.
