Luís Guarda was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 8th minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Emílio Gomes. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mário Neto in the 12th minute of play forced Capellas FC's goalkeeper Eusébio Assunção to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Eusébio Assunção made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mário Neto in the 18th minute of play. An unexpected shot in the 21st minute by Domingos Tavares got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. The supporters of Alquera FC booed when Capellas FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 44 match minutes in a wonderful position. Daniel Ferreira didn't get a good kick on the ball.
