Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Fábio Faria got the match started through his kick off. When Carlos Ramos came up free with the goalie in the 6th minute, the SC Vidal fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Carlos Ramos couldn't finish the play. SC Gravateira's Afonso Guerreiro got a good chance for a goal in the 7th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Jaime Faria came out of the goal in the 17th minute to try and stop a shot by SC Gravateira's Manuel Gomes. But to his dismay, Manuel Gomes quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. After some careless play in the SC Vidal defense, Manuel Gomes kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Jaime Faria. The SC Vidal fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Jaime Faria should have stopped the shot. Carlos Ramos fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 32nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Fernando Moura having to interfere. In the 34th minute the ball was on its way in behind SC Gravateira's goalkeeper Fernando Moura, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Fernando Moura made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Carlos Ramos in the 36th minute of play. Through an outstanding action, after 38 minutes, Jaime Faria successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Jaime Faria was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Afonso Guerreiro showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 3-0 in the 41 minute of play. In the 45th minute Afonso Guerreiro shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jaime Faria saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Delfim Mendes hit a great freekick 46 minutes into the match. Jaime Faria showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Afonso Guerreiro in the 48th minute of the match. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Afonso Guerreiro to make the kick off. SC Gravateira's Fernando Moura played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Fábio Faria in the 56th minute of play. Afonso Guerreiro struck a weak shot in the 58th minute. Jaime Faria didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for SC Gravateira. Manuel Gomes recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 62nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Alberto Coimbra was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 65th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. After 80 played minutes SC Gravateira got a freekick which was hit by Pedro Moutinho. Fernando Moura showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Fábio Faria, who was totally free with the ball in the 83rd minute. Carlos Ramos received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 88th minute. Fernando Moura tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. A hard shot 91 in the game by Carlos Ramos from a close distance when the talented Fernando Moura managed to make a qualified save. SC Gravateira's players were relieved. Fábio Faria might have been able to make a better finish in the 93rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Fernando Moura. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Fábio Faria ran back to his position shaking his head. Fernando Moura came out of the goal in the 94th minute to try and stop a shot by SC Vidal's Carlos Ramos. But to his dismay, Carlos Ramos quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-1. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Fábio Faria in the 97th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Fernando Moura saved SC Gravateira from getting behind.
