Rogério Guerreiro charged in rather forcefully in the 7th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Rogério Guerreiro the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, SC Gravateira's Rogério Guerreiro got a free kick in the 7th minute. Fernando Moura was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 8th minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Sebastião Cruz. When Rogério Guerreiro was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 10 minutes had been played. In the 11th match minute, SC Gravateira was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Rogério Guerreiro to maneuver through the defense. In the 12th minute Daniel Gomes shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Fernando Moura saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Cedofeitas FC's Daniel Gomes got a good chance for a goal in the 16th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Manuel Gomes struck a weak shot in the 27th minute. Tiago Dantas didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for SC Gravateira. After some fancy dribbling in the 31st minute, Manuel Gomes managed to get in a good position for a shot. SC Gravateira's supporters rose to their feet, but Manuel Gomes was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Tiago Dantas breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Manuel Gomes fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 34th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tiago Dantas having to interfere. Augusto Amaral sent away a hard shot on goal in the 39th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Fernando Moura made an important save on a dangerous shot by Augusto Amaral in the 41st minute. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Daniel Gomes was the one to do the kick off. If Daniel Gomes had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 55th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Fernando Moura showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Daniel Gomes, who was totally free with the ball in the 63rd minute. If Augusto Amaral had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 64th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 67th minute, Daniel Gomes made a precise shot to the right of Fernando Moura. SC Gravateira's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-0. In the 82ndth minute of the game Daniel Gomes who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but SC Gravateira's Fernando Moura was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. If Pedro Moutinho had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 90th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Augusto Amaral in the 92nd minute of play forced SC Gravateira's goalkeeper Fernando Moura to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Cedofeitas FC's Daniel Gomes got a good chance for a goal in the 95th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. For all the effort they put into the match, the SC Gravateira players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Cedofeitas FC.
