Cristiano Moutinho took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Alexandre Pinho, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. A collision led to SC Bicuela getting a freekick after 14 minutes play. Ricardo Neves hit a great ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jacinto Nascimento in the 16th minute of play forced SC Bicuela's goalkeeper Cristiano Moutinho to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Vítor Vieira fell near the penalty area in the 20th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored SC Bicuela's protests and gave Vítor Vieira a yellow card for diving instead. After 21 played minutes SC Bicuela got a freekick which was hit by Vítor Vieira. 21 minutes into the match, Estaleiro FC's Gaspar Assis broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. A collision led to SC Bicuela getting a freekick after 23 minutes play. Ricardo Simões hit a great ball. Gaspar Assis was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 24th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. In the 25th minute Lourenço Jesus suffered a thigh injury and had to be helped off the field. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jacinto Nascimento in the 29th minute of play forced SC Bicuela's goalkeeper Cristiano Moutinho to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ricardo Neves received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 30th minute. Ricardo Pinheiro tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Emanuel Matos had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 36th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The audience thought a goal was coming when Ricardo Neves got free with Ricardo Pinheiro in the 38th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After some fancy dribbling in the 46th minute, Ricardo Neves managed to get in a good position for a shot. SC Bicuela's supporters rose to their feet, but Ricardo Neves was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ricardo Pinheiro breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Ricardo Neves was the one to do the kick off. A collision led to SC Bicuela getting a freekick after 54 minutes play. Emanuel Matos hit a great ball. Ricardo Pinheiro showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ricardo Neves, who was totally free with the ball in the 57th minute. 63 minutes into the match, SC Bicuela's goalkeeper Cristiano Moutinho had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Alexandre Pinho. Alexandre Pinho fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 70th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cristiano Moutinho having to interfere. Ricardo Neves recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 73rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 74th minute Ricardo Simões shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ricardo Pinheiro saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 78 minutes of play SC Bicuela's Ricardo Simões was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. The supporters of Estaleiro FC booed when SC Bicuela was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 79 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ricardo Simões didn't get a good kick on the ball. Alexandre Pinho was extremely unlucky when he, in the 84th minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. Alexandre Pinho could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 89th minute of the match, but Cristiano Moutinho made a huge save. The teams fought very hard right up to the final whistle. Both sets of players were happy to go away with a draw.
