Adelino Tavares who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 17thth minute tested the skills of Pedro Fernandes when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Adelino Tavares sent away a hard shot on goal in the 27th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Daniel Fernandes had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 29th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Daniel Fernandes took the ball and in the 31 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Jaime Torres. Jaime Torres dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-2. Domingos Matias's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Pedro Fernandes read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 38th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ricardo Dias in the 40th minute of play forced Goncalinha's goalkeeper Jaime Torres to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-2 lead.

Daniel Fernandes could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 53rd minute of the match, but Jaime Torres made a huge save. In the 57th match minute, Goncalinha was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Simão Ramos to maneuver through the defense. Goncalinha's Jaime Torres played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ricardo Dias in the 59th minute of play. Daniel Fernandes who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 60thth minute tested the skills of Jaime Torres when he managed to save the team from getting behind. After having played for 63 minutes, Adelino Tavares managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Goncalinha's supporters crossed their fingers, but Adelino Tavares was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. If Domingos Matias had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 66th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 72nd minute of the game. One of Goncalinha:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of SC Pardilho:s goal. 82 minutes into the match, Goncalinha's goalkeeper Jaime Torres had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Daniel Fernandes. When Adelino Fonseca came up free with the goalie in the 88th minute, the Goncalinha fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Adelino Fonseca couldn't finish the play. If Ricardo Dias had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 93rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Domingos Matias received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 95th minute. Pedro Fernandes tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 100 played minutes, SC Pardilho's Luís Amaral shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Jaime Torres came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in SC Pardilho reached it. The SC Pardilho players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
