Carlos Antunes showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Alberto Cruz, who was totally free with the ball in the 12th minute. SC Faradouro's Nuno Pedroso proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 36th minute of the match, managed to save SC Faradouro from getting a goal against them. After 38 minutes, Adolfo Ferreira made it 1-1 with a short kick to the right side. SC Faradouro's Nuno Pedroso tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Bruno Aguiar was the one to do the kick off. Adolfo Ferreira sent away a hard shot on goal in the 74th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After some fancy dribbling in the 77th minute, Afonso Mota managed to get in a good position for a shot. SC Faradouro's supporters rose to their feet, but Afonso Mota was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Carlos Antunes breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Carlos Antunes stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Afonso Mota's shot from short distance in the 80th minute. SC Faradouro's Nuno Pedroso played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Bruno Aguiar in the 83rd minute of play. Bruno Aguiar sent away a hard shot on goal in the 89th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. SC Faradouro's João Delgado got his second yellow card of the match in the 90th minute. The referee ordered João Delgado off the ground. Adolfo Ferreira sent away a hard shot on goal in the 93rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. SC Faradouro had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
