SC Sinde's Bruno Aguiar got a good chance for a goal in the 4th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 6 minutes into the game, Sérgio Araújo was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. SC Sinde's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave SC Seca the free kick. A collision led to SC Sinde getting a freekick after 6 minutes play. Sérgio Araújo hit a great ball. Bruno Aguiar fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 9th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Amadeu Cardoso having to interfere. In the 13th match minute, SC Sinde was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Joaquim Barros to maneuver through the defense. The attack was good, but when Eduardo Teixeira in the 17th minute was about to shoot he didn't kick quite good enough and the ball went high over goal. 23 minutes into the game, Rogério Correia was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. SC Seca's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave SC Sinde the free kick. In the 24th match minute, SC Seca was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Rogério Correia to maneuver through the defense. When Ricardo Abreu fell near the penalty area in the 26th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored SC Seca's protests and gave Ricardo Abreu a yellow card for diving instead. In a very dangerous position, a player in SC Seca fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 26th minute. Penalty! In the 28th minute there was a penalty for SC Sinde. Gabriel Tavares stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Amadeu Cardoso. 0-1. In the 32ndth minute of the game Bruno Aguiar who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but SC Seca's Amadeu Cardoso was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 32nd minute, Abel Miranda hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The SC Seca players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. SC Sinde were winning 0-1.

After a rather tough play, SC Sinde's Sérgio Araújo got a free kick in the 51st minute. If Eduardo Teixeira had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 54th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The supporters of SC Sinde booed when SC Seca was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 62 match minutes in a wonderful position. Rogério Correia didn't get a good kick on the ball. SC Sinde's Gabriel Tavares couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 63rd minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for SC Seca. After a defensive mix-up in SC Seca's zone, Adolfo Ferreira stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Amadeu Cardoso came out of the goal and Adolfo Ferreira tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After 75 minutes, Augusto Anjos mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the SC Sinde and the SC Seca players grew even worse after the yellow card. In a very dangerous position, a player in SC Sinde fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 74th minute. Penalty! In the 76th minute there was a penalty for SC Seca. Ricardo Abreu stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Carlos Antunes. 1-1. Bruno Aguiar might have been able to make a better finish in the 88th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Amadeu Cardoso. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Bruno Aguiar ran back to his position shaking his head. The SC Sinde players were the happier at the end of the match as they had prevented SC Seca from taking control. The game ends in a draw.
