Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Francisco Lima started the match with the kick off. Nuno Ferreira who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 5thth minute tested the skills of Francisco Assis when he managed to save the team from getting behind. If Alfredo Brás had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 10th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Mesquinhata FC's Francisco Assis proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 12th minute of the match, managed to save Mesquinhata FC from getting a goal against them. Francisco Lima fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 14th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without José Leal having to interfere. In the 15th minute, Armando Abreu hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Mesquinhata FC's Vítor Morais got a good chance for a goal in the 16th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After having played for 17 minutes, Vítor Morais managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Mesquinhata FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Vítor Morais was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The supporters of Mesquinhata FC booed when Corvo FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 18 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jorge Domingues didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 19th minute, Vítor Morais got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. José Leal didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Vítor Morais went, in the 23rd minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. Francisco Lima might have been able to make a better finish in the 26th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over José Leal. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Francisco Lima ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 27th minute, Jorge Domingues hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. José Leal stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Francisco Lima's shot from short distance in the 34th minute. After 40 played minutes Corvo FC got a freekick which was hit by Adelino Amorim. An unexpectedly hard shot by Francisco Lima in the 42nd minute of play forced Corvo FC's goalkeeper José Leal to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Vítor Morais received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 44th minute. José Leal tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Alfredo Brás stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Jaime Simões during the 52nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Jaime Simões kicked well hit freekick during the 53rd minute of the match. In the 56th minute, Francisco Lima got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Daniel Nogueira kicked well hit freekick during the 60th minute of the match. With his leg José Leal managed to avoid a goal in the 69thth minute, when Mesquinhata FC's Vítor Morais fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Corvo FC's defense didn't have a chance, in the 70th minute, when Francisco Lima scored to the left of an out of position José Leal, making the score, 0-2. 74 minutes into the match, Mesquinhata FC's Vítor Morais sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that José Leal narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 80th minute Corvo FC were awarded a corner. João Leite went to the cornerflag to take it. Francisco Assis showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Nuno Ferreira in the 83rd minute of the match. If Vítor Morais had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 87th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The supporters of Mesquinhata FC booed when Corvo FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 89 match minutes in a wonderful position. Sebastião Veiga didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 93rd minute, Francisco Lima fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of José Leal, passed just outside the right post. Vítor Morais sent away a hard shot on goal in the 93rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Mesquinhata FC's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
