Spectators: 33 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Joaquim Barros took the kick off in the first half of the match. In the 3rd minute Joaquim Barros shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Francisco Assis saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Tomás Lisboa made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Francisco Lima in the 4th minute of play. If Vítor Morais had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 5th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The supporters of Mesquinhata FC booed when Nostim FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 6 match minutes in a wonderful position. Nuno Ramos didn't get a good kick on the ball. Francisco Lima received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 8th minute. Tomás Lisboa tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If José Oliveira had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 10th minute. In the 14th minute Francisco Lima shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tomás Lisboa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Mesquinhata FC's zone, Nuno Ramos stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Francisco Assis came out of the goal and Nuno Ramos tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Joaquim Neto's late challenge caught a Nostim FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Joaquim Neto helped the player get up and apologised. In the 23rd minute, Joaquim Neto hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 26th minute, José Oliveira got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Francisco Assis showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Joaquim Barros, who was totally free with the ball in the 28th minute. The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Francisco Lima to strike the kick off in the second half. Francisco Assis made an important save on a dangerous shot by José Oliveira in the 58th minute. Tomás Lisboa took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Vítor Morais, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The teams fought very hard right up to the final whistle. Both sets of players were happy to go away with a draw.
