The Nostim FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-0. In the 14th minute the ball was on its way in behind Corvo FC's goalkeeper José Leal, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Nuno Ferreira might have been able to make a better finish in the 18th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Tomás Lisboa. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Nuno Ferreira ran back to his position shaking his head. Tomás Lisboa showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Alfredo Brás, who was totally free with the ball in the 22nd minute. Joaquim Barros recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 27th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Joaquim Barros in the 35th minute of play forced Corvo FC's goalkeeper José Leal to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. José Leal was a little too slow when Joaquim Barros got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 39th minute. The score was now 2-0. Alfredo Brás sent away a hard shot on goal in the 47th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Joaquim Barros stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. If Joaquim Barros had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 52nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. If Nuno Ferreira had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 56th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Joaquim Barros came up free with the goalie in the 64th minute, the Nostim FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Joaquim Barros couldn't finish the play. After 67 played minutes Corvo FC got a freekick which was hit by Sebastião Veiga. António Figueiredo took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 68th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for José Leal. Corvo FC's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. José Oliveira sent away a hard shot on goal in the 70th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Tomás Lisboa made a fantastic save in the 74th minute, when Nuno Ferreira sent off a good shot on target. Nuno Ferreira hit a great freekick 75 minutes into the match. When José Oliveira came up free with the goalie in the 78th minute, the Nostim FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that José Oliveira couldn't finish the play. After a rather tough play, Corvo FC's Jorge Domingues got a free kick in the 81st minute. Nostim FC's Joaquim Barros got a good chance for a goal in the 85th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. José Leal made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Joaquim Barros in the 87th minute of play. In the 94th minute, Joaquim Barros ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. José Leal was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-0.
