He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Santrilha reached it. Ricardo Teixeira kicked well hit freekick during the 12th minute of the match. In the 14th minute, Artur Nunes left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Santrilha fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. Cristiano Martins kicked well hit freekick during the 22nd minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Artur Nunes in the 25th minute of play forced SC Mocarria's goalkeeper Óscar Oliveira to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Óscar Oliveira made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Amílcar Machado in the 27th minute of play. Cristiano Matias sent away a hard shot on goal in the 28th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Jacinto Cunha fell near the penalty area in the 29th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Santrilha's protests and gave Jacinto Cunha a yellow card for diving instead. Jacinto Cunha kicked well hit freekick during the 29th minute of the match. Mariano Cardoso fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 41st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Vasco Mota having to interfere. Vasco Mota was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 47th minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Gonçalo Anjos.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Amílcar Machado was the one to do the kick off. After 51 played minutes SC Mocarria got a freekick which was hit by Rafael Amaral. Óscar Oliveira didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Artur Nunes went, in the 53rd minute, to the upper right corner, 0-2 was the resulting score. Santrilha's Vasco Mota played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mariano Cardoso in the 57th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Amílcar Machado in the 61st minute of play forced SC Mocarria's goalkeeper Óscar Oliveira to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 65 minutes, Gonçalo Anjos mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the SC Mocarria and the Santrilha players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 65th minute, Gonçalo Anjos hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 66 played minutes, Santrilha's Gaspar Freitas shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Óscar Oliveira came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. In the 78th minute Amílcar Machado shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Óscar Oliveira saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Vasco Mota showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Mariano Cardoso in the 79th minute of the match. 83 minutes into the match, Santrilha's goal looked a bit too open when Cristiano Matias came free, but Vasco Mota reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpected shot in the 89th minute by Amílcar Machado got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. Mariano Cardoso received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 94th minute. Vasco Mota tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Chants of Santrilha echoed around the stadium as the match drew to a close. Supporters and players were both delighted with the win, as SC Mocarria had held the ball for most of the match.
