Spectators: 33 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Soudos FC's Afonso Macedo started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. When Afonso Macedo came up free with the goalie in the 3rd minute, the Soudos FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Afonso Macedo couldn't finish the play. Luís Costa scored 1-0 in the 10th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Américo Melo, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Joaquim Sá fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 15th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Américo Melo having to interfere. João Cabral charged in rather forcefully in the 20th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed João Cabral the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 21st minute of the match Gaspar Borges sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Daniel Amaral skillfully saved the ball. Américo Melo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Luís Costa in the 24th minute of play. Joaquim Sá took the ball and in the 31 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Américo Melo. Américo Melo dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-0. Luís Costa recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 35th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Daniel Amaral showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gil Anjos in the 44th minute of the match. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-0 at half-time.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Luís Costa to strike the kick off in the second half. 52 minutes into the match, SC Camacha's goal looked a bit too open when Afonso Macedo came free, but Daniel Amaral reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. SC Camacha were furious when Pedro Veiga was red carded, 56 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. In a very dangerous position, a player in SC Camacha fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 56th minute. Penalty! SC Camacha's Daniel Amaral played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Afonso Macedo in the 60th minute of play. Daniel Amaral took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Afonso Macedo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Soudos FC's Afonso Macedo in the 63rd minute got a chance for a shot 63rd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye SC Camacha's goalie prevented a goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Joaquim Sá in the 66th minute of play forced Soudos FC's goalkeeper Américo Melo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Afonso Macedo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 69th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. João Cabral struck a weak shot in the 73rd minute. Américo Melo didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for SC Camacha. Gil Anjos recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 77th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Afonso Macedo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 79th minute. Daniel Amaral tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. A very good chance. In the 94th minute, Albertino Azevedo got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. João Faro's late challenge caught a SC Camacha's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. João Faro helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of SC Camacha booed when Soudos FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 96 match minutes in a wonderful position. João Faro didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Soudos FC's zone, Joaquim Sá stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Américo Melo came out of the goal and Joaquim Sá tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play.
