Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Rafael Pinheiro made the kick off and thus started the match. When Francisco Pinheiro fell near the penalty area in the 3rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored SC Alcofra's protests and gave Francisco Pinheiro a yellow card for diving instead. Francisco Pinheiro hit a great freekick 3 minutes into the match. João Baptista showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Eduardo Moura in the 6th minute of the match. A collision led to SC Alcofra getting a freekick after 8 minutes play. Abel Rocha hit a great ball. Rogério Jesus received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 11th minute. Joel Aleixo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 14th match minute, SC Alcofra was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Francisco Pinheiro to maneuver through the defense. Francisco Pinheiro was shown his second yellow card after 16 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. A collision led to SC Alcofra getting a freekick after 17 minutes play. Francisco Pinheiro hit a great ball. In the 22nd minute, Bernardo Matias got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Sintra's João Baptista played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Eduardo Moura in the 25th minute of play. After 26 played minutes Sintra got a freekick which was hit by Rogério Jesus. After 29 minutes of play, Sintra's Bernardo Matias made it 1-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Joel Aleixo was left in no man's land by his defense there! If Bernardo Matias had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 32nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 41st minute, Eduardo Moura left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The SC Alcofra fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-1. If Eduardo Moura had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 47th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The wind increased when Bernardo Matias made the kick off in the second half. An unexpectedly hard shot by Rui Macedo in the 54th minute of play forced SC Alcofra's goalkeeper Joel Aleixo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Bernardo Matias in the 57th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Joel Aleixo saved SC Alcofra from getting behind. Cristiano Gueifão charged in rather forcefully in the 58th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Cristiano Gueifão the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Paulo Mota's late challenge caught a Sintra's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Paulo Mota helped the player get up and apologised. After 60 played minutes SC Alcofra got a freekick which was hit by Paulo Mota. Joel Aleixo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Rogério Jesus in the 63rd minute of play. In the 66th minute Bernardo Matias shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Joel Aleixo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. João Baptista was out of position in the 69 minute of play, and Eduardo Moura capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Eduardo Moura really showed his touch with that goal: 1-2. Joel Aleixo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Rogério Jesus in the 75th minute of play. The supporters of SC Alcofra booed when Sintra was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 76 match minutes in a wonderful position. Alexandre Bessa didn't get a good kick on the ball. Rogério Jesus kicked well hit freekick during the 79th minute of the match. Sintra's Rogério Jesus got a good chance for a goal in the 88th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After a rather tough play, SC Alcofra's Paulo Mota got a free kick in the 89th minute. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched SC Alcofra eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
