Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Hugo Reis made the kick off and thus started the match. After 8 minutes of play, Zebral's Eduardo Sá made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Américo Luz was left in no man's land by his defense there! Eduardo Vieira sent away a hard shot on goal in the 11th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Joaquim Faro received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 14th minute. Diamantino Santarém tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The audience was convinced that Eduardo Vieira's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Américo Luz was relentless in the 17th minute of the game. If Joaquim Faro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 18th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Eduardo Sá blasted a shot towards the goal in the 20th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Américo Luz having to make a save. Eduardo Vieira's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Américo Luz read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 28th minute of play. Eduardo Sá received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 31st minute. Américo Luz tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Eduardo Vieira took the ball and in the 33 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Américo Luz. Américo Luz dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-3. Eduardo Sá received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 37th minute. Américo Luz tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 41 minutes into the match, Zebral's goal looked a bit too open when Hugo Reis came free, but Diamantino Santarém reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Joaquim Faro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 42nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 44 minutes, Hugo Reis mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Cairrao and the Zebral players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 44th minute, Hugo Reis hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Eduardo Sá sent away a hard shot on goal in the 45th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Hugo Reis fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 48th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Diamantino Santarém having to interfere. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-3.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Eduardo Vieira was the one to do the kick off. Joaquim Faro recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 54th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Joaquim Faro in the 60th minute of play forced Zebral's goalkeeper Diamantino Santarém to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 61st minute, Eduardo Vieira fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. Eduardo Sá sent away a hard shot on goal in the 61st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a defensive mix-up in Zebral's zone, Joaquim Faro stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Diamantino Santarém came out of the goal and Joaquim Faro tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Zebral's Eduardo Vieira got a good chance for a goal in the 75th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. If Joaquim Faro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 80th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. After having played for 82 minutes, Eduardo Sá managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Zebral's supporters crossed their fingers, but Eduardo Sá was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The crowd rose to their feet as Zebral's Eduardo Vieira slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Américo Luz. That made the score 0-4 after 84 minutes of play. Joaquim Faro received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 88th minute. Diamantino Santarém tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 94th minute, Eduardo Vieira managed to get in a good position for a shot. Zebral's supporters rose to their feet, but Eduardo Vieira was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Américo Luz breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Rui Amorim's late challenge caught a Cairrao's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Rui Amorim helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to Zebral getting a freekick after 96 minutes play. Rui Amorim hit a great ball. When the final whistle sounded Zebral left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Cairrao.
