Inácio Aguiar recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 52nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 53rd minute, Paulo Rodrigues hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Lúcio Vale sent away a hard shot on goal in the 56th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 57 played minutes Marcelim FC got a freekick which was hit by Vítor Santarém. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Lúcio Delgado during the 59th minute. Inácio Aguiar sent away a hard shot on goal in the 93rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. SC Varge walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
