SC Senharei's Raul Dias proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 20th minute of the match, managed to save SC Senharei from getting a goal against them. In the 48th minute Rui Pinheiro shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rui Ribeiro saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Mário Pinheiro was the one to do the kick off. 53 minutes into the match, Bento Assunção notched a goal, 3-0, to the right of SC Senharei's Raul Dias. Raul Dias was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 56th minute, Pedro Jesus got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal.
