Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) SC Talho's Mário Mota started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Augusto Lima could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 4th minute of the match, but Joel Nogueira made a huge save. Emanuel Figueiredo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 6th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Emílio Guerreiro having to interfere. 10 minutes into the match, Pocinho's Emanuel Figueiredo sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Emílio Guerreiro narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Emílio Guerreiro showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Albertino Pereira in the 20th minute of the match. The supporters of Pocinho booed when SC Talho was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 20 match minutes in a wonderful position. Cristóvão Araújo didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Mário Mota had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 23rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 26th minute, SC Talho's Mário Mota ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Joel Nogueira. Joel Nogueira yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-0. Joel Nogueira came out of the goal in the 41st minute to try and stop a shot by SC Talho's Augusto Lima. But to his dismay, Augusto Lima quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-0. Cristiano Soares charged in rather forcefully in the 47th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Cristiano Soares the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. 46 minutes into the game, one of SC Talho:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. SC Talho:s Emílio Guerreiro showed great skill when he stopped Américo Sá:s penalty.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Emanuel Figueiredo to make the kick off. After a rather tough play, SC Talho's Cristóvão Araújo got a free kick in the 55th minute. In the 58th minute of the match Pocinho got a corner. SC Talho's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Américo Sá ran over to the corner to take the kick. A nice corner shot did that Américo Sá got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Emílio Guerreiro quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Augusto Lima fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 62nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Joel Nogueira having to interfere. Mário Mota struck a weak shot in the 71st minute. Joel Nogueira didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for SC Talho. Joel Nogueira showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Mário Mota, who was totally free with the ball in the 82nd minute. Luís Teixeira hit a great freekick 82 minutes into the match. Albertino Pereira sent away a hard shot on goal in the 91st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a defensive mix-up in SC Talho's zone, Emanuel Figueiredo stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Emílio Guerreiro came out of the goal and Emanuel Figueiredo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 96thth minute of the game Emanuel Figueiredo who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but SC Talho's Emílio Guerreiro was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. SC Talho's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
