Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Trezoi's Luís Leite started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 2nd minute, Carlos Domingues hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Luís Leite received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 4th minute. Gustavo Cabral tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The audience was convinced that Luís Leite's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Gustavo Cabral was relentless in the 8th minute of the game. After a defensive mix-up in Trezoi's zone, Cristiano Guerreiro stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Alfredo Vaz came out of the goal and Cristiano Guerreiro tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Gustavo Cabral took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Luís Leite, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Henrique Setúbal in the 21st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Gustavo Cabral saved Melhorada FC from getting behind. 26 minutes into the match, Melhorada FC's goal looked a bit too open when Luís Leite came free, but Gustavo Cabral reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After having played for 35 minutes, Henrique Setúbal managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Trezoi's supporters crossed their fingers, but Henrique Setúbal was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Gustavo Cabral showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Luís Leite, who was totally free with the ball in the 37th minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 39th minute, Luís Leite managed to get in a good position for a shot. Trezoi's supporters rose to their feet, but Luís Leite was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Gustavo Cabral breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Melhorada FC's Miguel Gueifão got a good chance for a goal in the 41st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After the first half Trezoi were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Cristiano Guerreiro to strike the kick off in the second half. Alfredo Vaz showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Miguel Gueifão, who was totally free with the ball in the 52nd minute. Gustavo Cabral made a fantastic save in the 54th minute, when Henrique Setúbal sent off a good shot on target. In the 58th minute of the match, Filipe Miranda tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Gustavo Cabral saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. In the 62nd match minute, Trezoi was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Filipe Miranda to maneuver through the defense. Gustavo Cabral showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Luís Leite, who was totally free with the ball in the 66th minute. After 67 played minutes Melhorada FC got a freekick which was hit by Miguel Gomes. Gustavo Cabral acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 73rd minute, took the ball on the long shot from Emanuel Coimbra. A collision led to Melhorada FC getting a freekick after 75 minutes play. Carlos Henriques hit a great ball. Henrique Setúbal might have been able to make a better finish in the 79th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Gustavo Cabral. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Henrique Setúbal ran back to his position shaking his head. After 82 played minutes Melhorada FC got a freekick which was hit by Cristiano Guerreiro. Luís Leite sent away a hard shot on goal in the 83rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 86 minutes into the match, Luís Leite dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Gustavo Cabral, 0-2. Luís Leite fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 92nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gustavo Cabral having to interfere. After having played for 95 minutes, Miguel Gueifão managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Melhorada FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Miguel Gueifão was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The Trezoi players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
