Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Alfredo Vaz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sandro Monteiro in the 3rd minute of play. Alexandre Setúbal kicked well hit freekick during the 8th minute of the match. In the 13th match minute, Trezoi was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Luís Leite to maneuver through the defense. Sandro Monteiro fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 14th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Alfredo Vaz having to interfere. Alexandre Setúbal took the ball and in the 19 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised André Figueiredo. André Figueiredo dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. Trezoi's Alfredo Vaz proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 23rd minute of the match, managed to save Trezoi from getting a goal against them. In the 25th minute Luís Leite shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but André Figueiredo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The audience was convinced that Henrique Setúbal's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but André Figueiredo was relentless in the 26th minute of the game. André Figueiredo came out of the goal in the 28th minute to try and stop a shot by Trezoi's Luís Leite. But to his dismay, Luís Leite quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. Luís Leite's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but André Figueiredo read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 32nd minute of play. Cláudio Ramos hit a great freekick 40 minutes into the match. Alfredo Vaz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Sandro Monteiro in the 44th minute of the match. If Tomás Abreu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 45th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Sandro Monteiro fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 47th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Alfredo Vaz having to interfere. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-3 lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Luís Leite made a kick off. 51 minutes into the match, SC Varelas's Sandro Monteiro sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Alfredo Vaz narrowly saved just below the crossbar. A collision led to Trezoi getting a freekick after 55 minutes play. Paulo Ferro hit a great ball. Alfredo Vaz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sandro Monteiro in the 61st minute of play. João Alves fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 63rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Alfredo Vaz having to interfere. SC Varelas's André Figueiredo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Luís Leite in the 66th minute of play. In the 68th minute Luís Leite shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but André Figueiredo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Henrique Setúbal received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 70th minute. André Figueiredo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 76th minute, Cláudio Ramos hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Humberto Pereira was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 76th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. In the 86th minute Tomás Abreu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Alfredo Vaz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Sandro Monteiro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 94th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Trezoi eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
