Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when José Delgado made the kick off which started today's match. Augusto Araújo took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 5th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Rui Paiva. SC Angustias's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Marco Sousa fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 8th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rui Paiva having to interfere. In the 9th match minute, SC Angustias was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Hélder Costa to maneuver through the defense. Vicente Melo succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 1-0 in the 16th playminute. Vicente Melo could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 25th minute of the match, but Gil Simões made a huge save. After 27 minutes, Jacinto Torres mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Terreiro and the SC Angustias players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 27 played minutes Terreiro got a freekick which was hit by Jacinto Torres. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Gustavo Pinto during the 28th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 28 played minutes Terreiro got a freekick which was hit by Gustavo Pinto. In the 30th minute Ricardo Fontes managed to get in a great position but fired away a sharp shot that went outside the goal on the goalie's right hand side. It could just as well have been a goal. 33 minutes into the match, Terreiro's goalkeeper Gil Simões had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Daniel Nogueira. A collision led to Terreiro getting a freekick after 34 minutes play. Joaquim Amorim hit a great ball. Gil Simões showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from José Delgado in the 40th minute of the match. Vicente Melo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 43rd minute. Gil Simões tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling José Delgado in the 47th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Gil Simões prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Ricardo Leite was the one to do the kick off. Ricardo Leite received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 55th minute. Rui Paiva tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Rui Paiva took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ricardo Leite, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Marco Sousa came up free with the goalie in the 59th minute, the Terreiro fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Marco Sousa couldn't finish the play. If Ricardo Leite had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 61st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Tiago Gaspar kicked well hit freekick during the 62nd minute of the match. Rui Paiva showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ricardo Leite in the 64th minute of the match. Ricardo Leite recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 69th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The audience was convinced that Marco Sousa's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Rui Paiva was relentless in the 71st minute of the game. Ricardo Leite might have been able to make a better finish in the 72nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Rui Paiva. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Ricardo Leite ran back to his position shaking his head. The crowd rose to their feet as Ricardo Leite kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Rui Paiva. That made the score 1-1 in the 74 minute of play. Ricardo Leite recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 79th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Marco Sousa received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 80th minute. Rui Paiva tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 81st match minute, SC Angustias was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Daniel Nogueira to maneuver through the defense. Rui Paiva came out of the goal in the 83rd minute to try and stop a shot by Terreiro's Marco Sousa. But to his dismay, Marco Sousa quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-2. After having played for 88 minutes, Ricardo Leite managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Terreiro's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ricardo Leite was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. SC Angustias's José Delgado got a good chance for a goal in the 92nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Armando Dantas kicked well hit freekick during the 94th minute of the match. Vicente Melo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 97th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Terreiro eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
