Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Vítor Lopes got the match started through his kick off. In the 4th minute Vítor Lopes shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Paulo Setúbal saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Vítor Lopes might have been able to make a better finish in the 8th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Paulo Setúbal. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Vítor Lopes ran back to his position shaking his head. Sandro Torres blasted a shot towards the goal in the 14th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Vítor Torres having to make a save. After a rather tough play, Cercal's Sandro Torres got a free kick in the 24th minute. In the 25th minute, Tiago Veiga hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Vítor Torres took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Eusébio Faro, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 32 minutes into the match, SC Atiaes's goal looked a bit too open when Eusébio Faro came free, but Vítor Torres reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 36th minute, Eusébio Faro got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Eusébio Faro sent away a hard shot on goal in the 38th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Vítor Lopes's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Paulo Setúbal read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 41st minute of play. Paulo Setúbal didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 43rd minute, which inside left pole to 1-0. 46 minutes into the game, Vasco Henriques was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Cercal's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave SC Atiaes the free kick. In the 46th minute, Vasco Henriques hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Eusébio Faro to make the kick off. Sandro Torres received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 53rd minute. Vítor Torres tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Vítor Torres showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Eusébio Faro, who was totally free with the ball in the 55th minute. Vítor Torres came out of the goal in the 56th minute to try and stop a shot by Cercal's Sandro Torres. But to his dismay, Sandro Torres quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. After 60 minutes, Eusébio Freitas mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the SC Atiaes and the Cercal players grew even worse after the yellow card. João Amorim kicked well hit freekick during the 72nd minute of the match. In the 80th minute, Sandro Torres got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. If Vítor Lopes had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 89th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.
