When Henrique Silva came up free with the goalie in the 5th minute, the SC Falca fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Henrique Silva couldn't finish the play. An unexpectedly hard shot by João Amaro in the 7th minute of play forced Cotem's goalkeeper Amadeu Sousa to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 11 played minutes SC Falca got a freekick which was hit by Henrique Silva. If Artur Amorim had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 12th minute. Cotem's supporters crossed their fingers, but Artur Amorim was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. If Henrique Silva had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 77th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Henrique Silva blasted a shot towards the goal in the 86th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Amadeu Sousa having to make a save. João Amaros short, quick shot in the 90thth minute got Amadeu Sousa to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Vítor Aguiar hit a great freekick 91 minutes into the match. Eduardo Santos's late challenge caught a SC Falca's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Eduardo Santos helped the player get up and apologised. Eduardo Santos kicked well hit freekick during the 95th minute of the match.
